The comfortable and firm head pad is engineered with a thickened design, sitting firmly on the head and delivering comfort while eliminating movement during flip turns and all four strokes. The durable, food-grade, and odorless mouthpiece fits perfectly in the mouth, keeping the front snorkel in place. The one-way purge valve helps to drain water entirely during exhalation.
To adjust the head strap, press the adjustment clip to raise and release the wedge lock, allowing the strap to move freely to increase or decrease the size of the head bracket.
If the purge valve is leaking water, it may need a good cleaning. You can remove the purge valve and wash it in warm, soapy water, then rinse it in clear water. This will ensure the flange on the purge valve seals properly and is not hindered by chlorine crystals or debris.
You can exhale through your mouth with or without using a nose clip.
To use the snorkel, place the strap around your head and adjust the tube and head bracket so that the tube extends directly up, past your nose and forehead. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and flex your cheeks, lips, and mouth to maintain a good seal.
